Article 1: Introduction

This is the Privacy Statement of Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas. In this statement you can read how we handle the personal data that we obtain in our contact with you.

 

Article 2: Collected personal data

Your privacy is very important to us. We do our utmost to protect your data. In order to be able to provide services to you and to guarantee our services to you, we do need a number of personal data from you. Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas processes this personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.

We use this data for the following purposes:

    • Providing and billing our services;
    • Sending newsletters;
    • Processing your order and informing you about its progress;
    • Storage of customer data in our database, in order to be able to execute the agreement between you and Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas;
    • Storage of customer data in our database for publication in the Whois database;
    • Taking measures to improve the service;
    • The provision of information or offers.

 

Article 3: Minors

Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas does not intend to collect data from persons under the age of 18. We therefore do not offer services to minors. We encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data from a minor without that permission, please contact us. We will then delete this information.

 

Article 4: Security

When transferring data, we use the so-called SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with 128/256-bit encryption. This technique offers the highest security and is therefore also used by banks, for example, for data security during online banking. All payment methods offered by us are extensively secured by the above standard. You can see that your data is sent encrypted by the symbol of a key or closed lock in the status bar of your browser.

 

Article 5: Data from website visits

We receive data based on your visit to our website. Examples of this are cookies. We use this data to get a better picture of our customers and to develop and adapt our services and website to your personal preferences.

 

Article 6: Viewing and adjusting data

You can view and change personal data that you have provided to us at any time in your personal customer environment. Some of our services use multi-factor authentication. We strongly recommend that you use this.

 

Article 7: Retention period data and inspection

When you end your services with us, we store some data based on the legal retention period. We delete data that is no longer needed. After the statutory retention period, we will destroy all data. You have the right to inspect the data we have about you after you have terminated the service with us. You can submit a request for access, correction or deletion to Customer Service. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. To protect your privacy, we hereby request that you black out your passport photo and citizen service number (BSN). Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at least within four weeks.

 

Article 8: Sharing with others

Stichting Muziek in de Nicolaas will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.
